Ways to Get Involved

Volunteer

You don’t need to be a member or live in Marblehead to join in our activities. We welcome everyone who is interested in volunteering. Volunteer opportunities can be fit your interests and include things like: writing postcards, holding signs, phone banking, working on social or multimedia, helping at events and more.

Stay Informed

Marblehead Democratic Town Committee holds a number of forums and other events addressing the challenges we face as a community and country. You can stay informed of these events by joining our mailing list and visiting the events page here.

 

Become a Member

Any Marblehead resident who is a registered Democrat can run for membership. Full membership is an elected position with a term of four years, with candidates appearing on the Presidential Primary ballot. Associate members are elected by full members. and participate alongside regular members., with the exception of voting and serving as an elected officer of the MDTC.

Join the MHD High School Democrats

The Marblehead High School Democrats are an independent group of high school students dedicated to civic engagement and activism on the local, statewide, and national level. Each week, members gather to volunteer for political campaigns, discuss current events, and learn about public policy. Founded in December 2017 by Marblehead High School students with the support of the Marblehead Democratic Town Committee, the MHS Dems model that there is no age limit when it comes to civic engagement.
